Eminent chef Floyd Cardos died after being infected with the Corona virus. Family sources gave this information on Wednesday. Sources said that Cardos (59) died due to being infected with the Corona virus in New York, USA. He was the co-owner of the famous restaurants Bombay Canteen and O Pedro in Mumbai. He recently started Bombay Sweet Shop. Kardoz was born in Mumbai and was in the city till March 8. On March 18, he reported via social media that he had admitted himself to a hospital in New York.
Many Bollywood celebrities have mourned the chef’s demise. Rahul Bose wrote on social media – apart from being surprised to hear of Floyd Kardoz’s demise enjoying sterling food at his various restaurants in New York and Bombay, he was an amazing person – always gracious and funny. Any epidemic becomes more inauspicious when it takes people you know. RIP Floyd.
